Lehman College men's indoor track and field athlete Pierre Francois has been named as the Preseason Player of the Year by the CUNY Athletic Conference. The head coaches in the league were polled and selected him for this award. Sophomore John Pollina earned Honorable Mention, while, as a team, the Lightning were projected to finish in third place overall.
